Huddersfield Town’s Joe Wright and Jake Charles have been included in the Wales Under-21 squad for upcoming UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers at home to Armenia and Romania.

The Town duo – both graduates of the Huddersfield Town Academy – have been included in Manager Geraint Williams’ squad for the qualifying group matches on Friday 13 November (vs Armenia in Bangor) and on Tuesday 17 November (vs Romania in Wrexham).

Wales’ Under-21 side is doing well in qualifying group 5 after winning its first two matches against Bulgaria and Luxembourg and drawing a tough game in Denmark.

The winners of the group will progress to the final tournament.

Centre back Joe, 20, started both of the qualifying wins for Wales, whereas 19 year-old attacker Jake has earned two caps as a substitute.

Joe is currently on a Youth Loan at League 2 Accrington Stanley until January 2016. Meanwhile Jake has returned from an early season loan spell at Guiseley and is a regular in Frankie Bunn's table-topping Under-21 side.
