Loanee in Chris Coleman’s latest selection

- Emyr Huws receives call-up from Wales
- Midfielder could feature against the Netherlands
- 22 year-old has four caps for his country

Huddersfield Town midfielder Emyr Huws is in the Wales squad for its upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifiers against the Netherlands.

The Llanelli-born 22 year-old, who is on loan to the Terriers from Wigan Athletic, has been named in the squad by Wales Head Coach Chris Coleman for the international friendly.

The Welsh host the Dutch at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday 13 November. 

Emyr already has four caps for his country, two of which came in the recent successful Euro qualifying campaign. However, his last international appearance came back in November 2014 ahead of his long injury layoff.

The latest call-up caps what has been an excellent start to life at Town for the central midfielder. Emyr has scored four goals for the Terriers so far, which has earned him the Club’s BWF Player of the Month award for September 2015 as well as a nomination for the PFA’s monthly Championship accolade.
