Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski has extended his Emergency Loan at Hyde United until Monday 28 December 2015 inclusive.

Ed has started five games in his initial month at the Club and could now feature in a further eight fixtures over the festive period, starting with Saturday's fixture at home to Frickey Athletic.

This is Ed’s fourth spell on loan and second at Hyde United following on from a spell at Ewen Fields last season, time at Trafford FC and a previous loan at FC United of Manchester.

Hyde United currently plays in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier; one tier below the Vanarama National League North.

Managed by Gary Lowe, The Tigers sit 10th in the table with 29 points from 20 games; three points and five places off Ashton United in the final Play-Off spot.

Former Huddersfield Town player and Coach Martyn Booty is Hyde’s current Assistant Manager, whilst the squad includes former Town Academy players Spencer Harris, James Burke and Shane Killock.

A goalkeeper from Mount, Ed joined the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-14 level having played junior football for Collegians in Salendine Nook.

This season he has made six starts for Frankie Bunn’s Town Under-21 side.
