Four games scheduled for Tony Carss’ team
Four friendly fixture have been scheduled for Huddersfield Town Under-18s ahead of the 2015/16 Professional Development League 2 season.
Tony Carss’ young Terriers will play their first pre-season game at Youth Alliance League side Wigan Athletic on Tuesday 14 July; 1pm kick-off at PPG Canalside.
The next fixture will follow against Category 1 Academy side Middlesbrough at the Rockcliffe Training Ground on Saturday 25 July; 11.30am kick-off in Teesside.
Town will then make the relatively short trip across the Pennines to play Oldham Athletic at the Latics’ Chapel Lane training ground on Tuesday 28 July, 11am kick-off.
The final of the four currently scheduled friendlies will see the scholars host another Category 1 side, Sunderland, at PPG Canalside on Saturday 1 August in a noon start.
The Professional Development League 2 North gets under way on Saturday 8 August, with Town going into the new season as the reigning champions.
