WILLIAM BOYLE LOANED TO KIDDERMINSTER

26 March 2015

Under-21 Captain joins Vanarama Conference club

Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 Captain William Boyle has today joined Vanarama Conference side Kidderminster Harriers on a Youth Loan until the end of the 2014/15 season.

The 19 year-old Academy graduate, who made his First Team debut as a late substitute during Town’s 3-0 Sky Bet Championship win over Reading in late February, has completed his move ahead of today’s 5pm loan deadline, pending confirmation from the Football League.

A tall first year professional who can operate at centre back or left back, William has started 27 games for Frankie Bunn’s Development Squad this term, scoring once.

Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn commented:

“William has been a standout performer for the Club’s Under-21 team this season and fully deserves this opportunity to further his development. He has made big strides in his development as a player in his first year as a professional and I believe there is still a lot more to come as he gets older and physically stronger.

“This loan to Kidderminster Harriers is a great first loan move for William as he’ll go into a good team playing at a good level of football. It’s a great opportunity for him to go out, play, learn and set himself up for next season.”

Managed by Gary Whild, Harriers currently sit 13th in the table with 52 points from 40 games.

William’s new teammates at Aggborough include the likes former West Bromwich Albion striker Lee Hughes and ex-Torquay United defender Kevin Nicholson.
