Frankie Bunn’s side to play down south

Town’s Under-21 side is back in action just three days after its last fixture in a game at Colchester United in the Professional Development League 2 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Development Squad recorded a superb 3-1 win over Southern division leaders Swansea City at PPG Canalside on Saturday morning, with first year Academy scholar Jack Boyle netting a brace on his first start at Under-21 level.

Now Senior Professional Development Coach Frankie Bunn is taking a young side to Essex to take on hosts Colchester at the Florence Park training ground (Grange Road, Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0UH).

Town’s Development Squad goes into the game second in the U21 Professional Development League North with 34 points from 19 games. The top two sides in the division at the end of the season go into a Play-Off semi-final against one of the top two from the southern division.

Tuesday’s hosts Colchester sit ninth in the 10-team southern section with 24 points from 21 games.

As always, Town’s Twitter account - @htafcdotcom – will bring supporters updates of all the goals as they go in!
