TOWN’S TEAM vs NORWICH
17 March 2015
Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell has made three changes to his starting XI for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Norwich City; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Jack Robinson is sidelined due to the knee injury he sustained at Birmingham City on Saturday, so there’s a St. Patrick’s Day start for Irish defender Jake Carroll.
The 23 year-old’s last Town start came 18 months ago in a Capital One Cup game at Hull City, although he has subsequently made 19 appearances on loan at Bury and Patrick Thistle – as well as one substitute appearance for the Terriers.
The second change comes in midfield, where Sean Scannell replaces the injured Harry Bunn (hamstring).
Sadly, Saturday goal-scorer Joe Lolley also misses out tonight due to a hip problem; his place is taken by Ishmael Miller, who is making his first start in four games.
There’s a first career appearance on the bench tonight for number 34 Jake Charles. The Academy graduate, aged 19, has scored four goals in five starts for Town’s Under-21s so far this season after recovering from an early season back injury.
