Match day opportunities with Stadium Company

The following is a job advert for match day positions within Kirklees Stadium Development Limited.

Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd is looking for people who are willing to work match days - both Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants - and event days/evenings throughout the year.  

Your main role and responsibility will be to ensure the safety of the general public attending The John Smith’s Stadium to watch a match or event.  

Previous experience of dealing with customers and/or large crowds is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

You must be an honest individual, punctual and committed to attending most matches and events held at the Stadium. You must be of smart appearance, work well within a team and you must enjoy interacting with people. Good communication skills are essential.

You will work approximately four hours on match/event days; the specific hours will be variable depending on the time of kick off. Match or event days can be any day of the week but are predominantly Saturdays and Sundays. The pay rate for this job is above minimum wage.

Part Time Vacancies – Experienced match day Hospitality Staff and Managers

Sodexo is currently recruiting staff and Managers for its prestigious hospitality areas for the forthcoming football season 2015/16.

Staff – You will have excellent customer service skills engaging with many different clientele; be passionate about the hospitality industry; willing to work within bar/waiting areas and be able to commit to the season to ensure our excellent service standards are maintained.

A minimum of one year's experience is essential due to the nature of the business.

Managers - As a Manager you will support the management team and assist in maintaining our excellent customer experience through motivating and training our team of casual staff.

You must be hands on, self motivated, be passionate about the business and strive to identify opportunities to upsell within the hospitality areas.

This position plays a key role on match day and it is essential you are able to commit to the season and be flexible with working hours. The position is casual, however Sodexo encourage development/progression within their teams and offer additional work during non-match day events. 

It is anticipated that applicants will have a minimum of one year's experience within the hospitality industry.
