Academy scholar up for annual LFE award

Huddersfield Town Academy scholar Jack Boyle is on the shortlist for the League Football Education (LFE) 2014/15 Goal of the Season – and he needs your votes to win!

The 17 year-old attacking midfielder recently won the LFE’s April accolade for his superb bending free-kick in the Under-18’s 2-0 win at Birmingham City; watch it below!

As a result, he is now facing off against the other monthly winners from throughout the campaign for the LFE’s annual award.

Supporters’ votes will decide the ultimate winner, so please register your vote for Jack’s goal HERE and help him win the award!

Voting will remain open until 5pm on Tuesday 9 June 2015.

After missing the start of the season through injury, Jack had a great first year of his two year scholarship at the Academy. The diminutive attacker netted 10 goals in 21 starts for the Under-18s, as well as a further four goals in four starts and five substitute appearances for the Club’s Under-21s.

Jack also won the Club’s Academy Goal of the Season award for 2014/15 for another free-kick against Birmingham City at PPG Canalside in December 2014.
