HARRY’S HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2014/15

If you ask any Huddersfield Town fan who their surprise package of 2014/15 was, Harry Bunn will probably be up there!

The exciting 22 year-old attacker was a close runner-up to Conor Coady in the voting for the Club’s Young Player of the Year accolade at the 2015 Annual Awards due to a string of impressive performances in what was his first full season at First Team level.

Harry played a total of 2,085 minutes in the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship for the Terriers; only nine of his teammates played more. It was a big leap from the previous campaign, when he played just 14 minutes of First Team football over three fleeting substitute appearances.

Before that, Harry’s highest number of minutes on the pitch came through three League 1 loan spells at Preston, Oldham and Rochdale in 2011/12; just 1,257.

With nine goals, he was runner-up in the team’s scoring charts to top marksman Nahki Wells. However, no player had more dribbles per game than Harry!

A graduate of the Manchester City Academy, Harry initially joined the Terriers on loan in November 2013 and played exclusively for the Development Squad before signing a permanent short-term deal in January 2014.

That contract was extended in the summer and Harry soon made an impact, scoring on his full debut for the Club in the 2-1 win at Reading in August 2014.

Harry subsequently signed an extended contract until summer of 2017 in November; full info HERE.

The attacker has been reporting in to PPG Canalside during the summer months to put in some extra work ahead of the new season; he explains why HERE.
