The Terriers were victorious in an entertaining opening game, with the goals from Nahki Wells, Jacob Butterfield and Joe Lolley.
Manager Chris Powell was happy with the game, which preceded the First Team going on a pre-season training camp in Spain.
The Under-21s are the next Town side in action, with the annual visit to Radcliffe Borough on Friday night.
