Frankie Bunn’s side back in action on Tuesday night
- Huddersfield Town's Under-21s to play Brighouse Town
- Game on Tuesday night, 7.30pm kick-off
- Admission set at £7 for adults
Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 side is back in match action again on Tuesday night when it makes the short journey to play Brighouse Town.
Brighouse’s First Team plays in the eighth tier of English football, the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier First Division North. That’s the same division as Radcliffe Borough, the side Town’s Under-21s beat 1-0 in its first pre-season public open to the public recently. Last season, Brighouse finished 14th in the division; five places higher than Radcliffe.
Managed by Paul Quinn, Brighouse’s squad is expected to have plenty of familiar faces in it for those supporters that watch Town’s Academy sides. Players on the Brighouse books include former Town juniors Adam Field, Adam Wilson, James Pollard and goalkeeper Paul Hagreen.
Brighouse’s side performed well in its last pre-season friendly, running Guiseley – the side Town’s First Team defeated in its first run-out – close in an eventual 2-1 defeat, with forward Ernest Boafo the scorer.
Town’s Development Squad most recently defeated 10th tier side AFC Emley 4-1, with 19 year-old striker Flo Bojaj leading the way with a hat-trick.

Unfortunately Callum Charlton, a player that the Terriers signed from Brighouse Town this summer after a trial, will miss the game with a foot injury.
The game at the Dual Seal Stadium (St. Giles Road, HD6 2PL) will kick-off at 7.30pm, with admission priced at £7 adults and £4 concessions, with under-12s admitted free of charge.
