Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Liaison Officer, Nathan Hosker, has provided fans with an update on his role at the Club and plans for the forthcoming season.

“Having been the HTAFC Supporter Liaison Officer for a full season now, I have taken great pleasure in being able to attend home and away games with you all. I have met lots of individuals and have also enjoyed getting to know more people in the various supporters’ groups, including the newly formed HTSA Southern Terriers Group.
“I am aware that not everyone knows about my role or what it is for, which is why I wanted to take this opportunity in the closed season to give you an idea of the sorts of things I have been doing since I was appointed as SLO in 2014.
“My role at Huddersfield Town is to work with both the Club and the fans to share information and feedback to bring improvements, particularly with regards to match days. In 2014/15, through a combination of both social media and email, I have liaised with supporters on a number of queries regarding catering, ticketing, facilities, contact information, disabled access and away travel.
“On match days I have been based outside the Revell Ward Stand ahead of kick off with my blue and white SLO flag speaking to fans, taking queries and either providing an immediate response or asking the most appropriate person within the Club to handle the query and rectifying the concern as soon as possible. I have also been there for a general chat about the upcoming game; I always like hearing your views and sharing my own!
“I also took part in both Walk for Pounds and Pedal for Pounds in 2015 to raise funds for the Club’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, which was a great way to help our Academy and YAA but also to speak to more Town fans.
“I am living ‘down south’ at the moment and this has meant I haven’t been able to attend as many ‘All Together Town’ meetings as I would have liked, but I am hoping to get to more in 2015/16. At the last ATT meeting on 18 May (please see notes HERE) it was agreed that my role still needs more visibility within the fan base and over the coming months I will be considering various different ways to do that.
