First game of 2015 for the young Terriers

Tony Carss’ Under-18 side plays its first game of 2015 on Friday afternoon when it travels to Barnsley in the Professional Development League 2 North.

The 1.30pm kick-off will be streamed live on Barnsley’s YouTube channel -

Town’s Under-18s went top of the table by defeating previous leaders Birmingham City in their final game of 2014, beating the visitors 2-1 at PPG Canalside. Highlights of the game are below.

The Terriers have played 15 League games this season, winning nine and drawing three. Meanwhile, Friday’s opponents Barnsley sit seventh in the nine club division with 16 points from 13 games.

Admission to Friday’s game is free of charge, with the game being played on the Academy pitch behind the away end at Oakwell.
