TOWN’S TEAM vs. WATFORD

10 January 2015

Four changes made by Powell

Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell has made four changes to his starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Watford.

Having missed the last six games through injury, Joel Lynch returns to the line-up today to make the 200th League appearance of his career. He replaces Murray Wallace, who drops out of the match day squad due to the hamstring injury that forced him off against Reading last weekend.

The other three changes come in midfield. Jacob Butterfield and Sean Scannell return having been rested last weekend, replacing the departed Adam Hammill and Harry Bunn, who injured his hamstring in training this week.

The final change sees Oscar Gobern start his first game of the season in place of the suspended Jonathan Hogg; it’s his first appearance on the pitch at the John Smith’s Stadium since 18 April.

There are places among the substitutes this afternoon for Matt Crooks and Philip Billing.
