TOWN'S TEAM vs BORO

17 January 2015

Hogg returns to starting XI after suspension

Middlesbrough-born Jonathan Hogg returns to Huddersfield Town’s starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against his hometown club; 3pm kick-off at the Riverside Stadium.

The midfielder, who missed last weekend’s win over his former club Watford through suspension, replaces Oscar Gobern in the only change manager Chris Powell has made to his line-up.

Gobern drops to the bench, where he takes the place of Development Squad midfielder Matt Crooks.

The Terriers are otherwise unchanged from the 3-1 win over the Hornets last weekend, which means a first return to Middlesbrough for Jacob Butterfield following his move between the clubs during August 2014. He played for Boro last season, making 32 appearances and scoring three times.

In-form winger Sean Scannell is making his 50th start in the league for Huddersfield Town this afternoon.
