TOWN'S TEAM vs MILLWALL

7 February 2015

Powell makes three changes to the starting XI

Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell has made three changes to his starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game at Millwall; 3pm kick-off at the Den.

Alex Smithies returns from the illness that kept him out of the side for the Leeds game last weekend; he replaces Joe Murphy, who hasn’t travelled with the squad due to an issue with his foot.

The other changes come in defence. Joel Lynch is injured, so his place is taken by Murray Wallace.

With Tommy Smith ruled out due to the injury he sustained in last Saturday’s West Yorkshire derby, Harry Bunn comes into the starting line-up in his place. Like Wallace, Bunn is making his first start since the FA Cup defeat at home to Reading on 3 January.

The Terriers are otherwise unchanged, so new boy Ishmael Miller is named among the substitutes.

Nahki Wells is making his 50th appearance for Huddersfield Town this afternoon, whereas Joe Wilkinson and Joe Wright make their first appearances in Town’s match day 18 today.
