Midfielder wins first monthly award of 2015
Members of Huddersfield Town’s ‘Blue and White Foundation’ have voted Jacob Butterfield as their Player of the Month for January.
The talented central midfielder just beat off competition from teammates Joel Lynch and Sean Scannell to the monthly accolade.
BWF member Paolo Zottola, from Birchencliffe, was picked out at random from all those that voted for Jacob. He will now get the chance to meet the player before the game against Wolves on Tuesday 10 February and present him with a bottle of champagne.
Paolo will also receive a commemorative photo of the occasion, as well as meal for two courtesy of the Grange Pub and Restaurant at Grange Moor.
