TOWN’S TEAM vs. BRENTFORD

19 December 2015

Wagner makes quartet of changes at Griffin Park

- David Wagner names HTAFC team at Brentford
- Head Coach makes four changes to starting XI
- Martin Cranie fit, but Jonathan Hogg injured

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made four changes to his starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Brentford; 3pm kick-off at Griffin Park.

The first of these changes comes in attack, where Ishmael Miller starts his first game of Wagner’s tenure following his goal-scoring appearance as a substitute against Rotherham in midweek. That move sees Nahki Wells drop to the bench.

Meanwhile, Martin Cranie (pictured above) has recovered from the thigh problem that kept him out of Town’s midweek win; he replaces Jonathan Hogg, who has unfortunately picked up a hip injury.

On the eve of his 24th birthday, Jamie Paterson returns to the line-up at the expense of Harry Bunn. ‘Pato’ played for current Brentford Manager Dean Smith during the pair’s time at Walsall.

The fourth switch comes in attack, where Joe Lolley is restored to the XI in place of Sean Scannell.

Duane Holmes starts back-to-back games for the first time in his career in central midfield.
