Five changes to Wagner’s starting XI

- David Wagner makes 5 changes to HTAFC XI
- Huws, Hogg, Dempsey, Wells & Scannell return
- Ishmael Miller out injured

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made five changes to his starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game versus Preston North End; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

After a two game injury absence due to a hamstring problem, Emyr Huws returns to central midfield today in place of Duane Holmes.

Emyr will be partnered in midfield by Jonathan Hogg, who is back from his own thigh problem to replace Martin Cranie.

The three other changes come in the forward ranks. 

Top scorer Nahki Wells returns to the starting XI in place of Ishmael Miller, who misses out today with back and hamstring issues.

Behind him, Kyle Dempsey – fresh from scoring his first Town goal at Brentford last weekend – makes a first start in six games in place of Jamie Paterson, whilst Sean Scannell replaces Mustapha Carayol.

With Miller injured today, 19 year-old striker Flo Bojaj is back among the substitutes.
