Over 550 people joined Head Coach David Wagner at Huddersfield Town's Christmas Carol concert on Monday evening.

Wagner, the First Team coaching staff and Under-21 squad made their way to Cathedral House for an evening of live entertainment.

Town’s Head Coach soon took centre stage, holding a question and answer session with the MC; discussing football, what Christmas means to him and his family and what present he would like – to which he replied ’15 points’!

Readings were also given by Development Squad defenders Joe Wilkinson and Fraser Horsfall, before their teammates Jake Charles and Ronan Coughlan joined two local youngsters to help out with a ‘Decorate the Christmas Tree’ game.

The Cathedral House Big Band was joined on stage by the choir from school partner Royds Hall Community, who sang songs including ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Jesus What a Wonderful Child’ and ‘Home’, which was performed solo by pupil Ailish Farrell.

The guests also sang carols such as ‘O come all ye faithful’ and ‘Hark’ before the Band finished on ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’, after which guests were invited for festive refreshments and mince pies.
