LOAN WATCH: HIWULA NETS AGAIN

30 December 2015

Five professionals playing at other clubs

- A report on HTAFC's loanees
- Five players plying trade at other clubs
- Find out how Town's players are faring

James Vaughan – Birmingham City

James played 72 minutes of Birmingham's 3-0 Boxing Day defeat at Sheffield Wednesday before being an unused substitute in the Blues' 1-0 win over MK Dons on Monday, with fit-again Clayton Donaldson being restored to the starting XI.

So far James has made four starts and one substitute appearance for his loan club; he is yet to open his City account. His next chance to score will come on Saturday, when Gary Rowett's side hosts Brentford at St. Andrew's.

Jordy Hiwula – Wigan Athletic

Jordy made a big impact on his first Wigan appearance for over a month on Monday afternoon. Replacing former Town loanee Reece James in the 80th minute with the game at Fleetwood poised at 1-1, Jordy scored within three minutes - following up to seize upon a rebound after Yanic Wildschut's initial shot was saved.

Hiwula also got the assist for Wigan's third goal in added time, sending Michael Jacobs through on goal.

That takes Jordy's Wigan record to an impressive six goals in just seven starts and four substitute appearances. He'll be hoping to feature again when the Latics play at Mark Robins' Scunthorpe United on Monday.

Joe Wright – Accrington Stanley

Joe made his 13th start for League 2 Accrington Stanley on Monday, but couldn't prevent a 1-0 defeat at Northampton Town.

The centre back will be hoping to add to that total when Accrington plays at Mansfield Town on Saturday.

William Boyle – York City

Town's Under-21 Captain Boyle played the full 90 minutes at centre back as York City drew 1-1 at Mansfield Town on Monday; his fifth start for the League 2 side.

'Boyley' will be in line to start again when the Minstermen play at Yeovil Town at the weekend.

Liam Coogans – Queen of the South

The Scottish Championship is currently on a winter break, so Liam's next chance to play is on Saturday at Livingston.
