The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions; North and South. Teams play each team in their own division twice and the other division once. The top two teams from each region meet then meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall PDL2 champion.
Carss’ side will be looking to finish top again this season after winning the northern division for the previous two seasons.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town’s Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby has been named Chairman of his first club, Liversedge FC.
The Northern Counties East League Premier Division side is the local club where Bromby started his football career before turning professional at Sheffield Wednesday.
Bromby will take a Town XI to play Liversedge at Clayborn on Tuesday 25 August 2015. Entry will be £2.50, with Under 15s free. Town fans with a Season Card will also get in free!
The 100th person through the gate will receive two free tickets to a Town match, while the 200th supporter will get a Town signed shirt. A mystery prize is on offer to the 300th fan through the gates on the night.
