Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 side is back in action on Monday afternoon when it travels to London to play Queens Park Rangers.

The young Terriers will kick-off against the hosts at 2pm on Monday at QPR's training ground; the Imperial College Sports Ground, Sipson Lane, Harlington, Middlesex, UB3 5AQ.

If you can’t make the game, there will be updates of any goals on Town’s Twitter account - @htafcdotcom.

Frankie Bunn’s side kicked-off the Professional Development League 2 campaign with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over visitors Colchester United at PPG Canalside; highlights of which are below!

During the early stages of the season, Bunn has been without the services of midfielders Ben Holmes and Callum Charlton. In addition, Joe Wright, Jake Charles and William Boyle are all out on youth loans, although they can still feature for the Under-21s if called upon.

Managed by former Portsmouth and Rushden & Diamonds striker Paul Hall, QPR’s Under-21s lost 3-0 at Sheffield United on the opening day of the PDL season.

Like the Colchester opener, Monday’s fixture is one of 10 against teams from the southern PDL2 League, whereas Town plays each of the other nine PDL2 North sides twice during the league campaign.

At the end of the season, the top two sides from each regional division play the end of season Play-Offs to determine an overall winner.

Last season, the young Terriers finished second in the northern ladder before reaching the Play-Off Final, losing 3-2 to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
