- Tony Carss's side looking to top PDL2 North again
Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side hosts Queens Park Rangers at PPG Canalside on Saturday in the first match of the 2015/16 Professional Development League 2 season.
The young side, led by Professional Development Coaches Tony Carss and Leigh Bromby, will kick-off their season against QPR at noon on Saturday 8 August.
For those interested, the game is free to watch at PPG Canalside and is scheduled to be played on one of the pitches over the canal at the back of the facility.
The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions; North and South. Teams play each team in their own division twice and the other division once. The top two teams from each region meet then meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall PDL2 champion.
Last season, visitors QPR finished 7th in the PDL2 South.
Carss’ side will be looking to finish top again this season after winning the northern division for the previous two seasons. Watch highlights from the last campaign below!
