Thorne hits brace for the visitors

- James Thorne hits brace for Nottingham Forest

A brace from Nottingham Forest’s James Thorne condemned a young Huddersfield Town Under-21 side to defeat in the Professional Development League 2 North at PPG Canalside this morning.

Thorne’s first goal came with around 10 minutes of the first half remaining, when he capitalised on an error from Town centre back Fraser Horsfall.

The second followed just after the hour mark and was a stunning long range hit after Thorne showed good feet.
