U18 SEMI-FINAL AT STADIUM ON MONDAY

26 April 2015

Tony Carss’ side hosts Brentford at 2pm

Huddersfield Town Under-18s host Brentford in the Professional Development League 2 Play-Off Semi-Final at the John Smith’s Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Tony Carss’ youngsters are the reigning Champions after beating Crewe Alexandra in the PDL2 Final on penalties at the John Smith’s Stadium last year.

The 18s now prepare for the 2pm kick-off with their opponents travelling to West Yorkshire, having finished second in the Professional Development League 2 South.

The young Terriers claimed the PDL2 North title last weekend with a 3-2 win over Crewe Alexandra. Town beat Nottingham Forest under-18s to the top spot after a consistently impressive campaign and now have the home advantage in this Play-Off semi-final because of this.

The two sides have already met once already this season, with Town taking all three points in October 2014. A 3-0 win at PPG Canalside came courtesy of goals from Liam Coogans, Ronan Coughlan and Rekeil Pyke.

The winner of tomorrow’s tie – there must be a winner on the day, so there will be extra time and penalties if necessary – will meet either Charlton Athletic or Nottingham Forest, who play out the other semi-final.

Admission for supporters is at the turnstiles tomorrow, with prices set as follows:

Adults - £4
Concessions - £2
2014/15 Season Card holders - £2 if Season Card is displayed on arrival.

If you can’t make the game, we’ll have full match coverage on the Club’s official Twitter account - @htafcdotcom!
