FUN FOR KIDS AT SATURDAY’S GAME!

16 April 2015

Derby is fourth ‘Schools Focus’ game of the season

Town’s Sky Bet Championship game against Derby County on Saturday is the fourth ‘Schools Focus’ game of the season – so there’s plenty in store for the Club’s younger supporters!

The Schools Focus scheme, which is supported by Syngenta, allows pupils from one of the 90 schools Town works with across the region come to watch the Terriers at a discounted rate, whilst earning cashback for their school at the same time.

With over 500 extra kids expected in the Fantastic Family Stand on Saturday, the Club has ensured there’s plenty for them to enjoy on top of the 90 minutes of action on the pitch against the Rams.

There will be a face painter and balloon modeler in the Fantastic Family Stand Upper Tier concourse ahead of the 3pm kick-off, whilst popular mascots ‘Terry the Terrier’ and ‘Captain Booth’ – the official mascot of the Town Foundation charity – will also be on hand to say hello.

One of Town’s players will also meet 20 local youngsters ahead of the game to present them with a replica shirt and match tickets courtesy of the ‘Terrier 7s’ scheme (click HERE for info).

On the pitch, local junior club partner Huddersfield YMCA’s players will form the pre-match Guard of Honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch.

This is on top of some special things being planned for the Club’s annual ‘Academy game’ – click HERE for more info.
