Powell hands debut to Mark Hudson

New Town Manager Chris Powell has handed a debut to Mark Hudson in his first game in charge against Middlesbrough at the John Smith’s Stadium today; 3pm kick-off.

The defender is one of four changes made by Powell to the side that started against Watford a fortnight ago; he replaces Murray Wallace in the starting XI.

The second change sees skipper Lee Peltier return following his recent groin injury; he takes Radi Majewski’s place in the team.

Powell’s third change sees Nahki Wells return after the knock to the ankle that made him fit enough only for the bench at Vicarage Road – he replaces Sean Scannell.

Loanee Jack Robinson will make his home debut today, with Paul Dixon being replaced in the team by fit-again Tommy Smith.
