SAVE MONEY WITH ‘TAKE 10’ MEMBERSHIP

23 September 2014

The 2014/15 ticket membership scheme for adults, over 60s and full-time students

- Save up to £50 on adult match tickets
- £25 on seniors
- £125 on full-time students!

Huddersfield Town has launched ‘TAKE 10’, an exciting new ticket membership scheme for supporters whose personal circumstances make purchasing a Season Card impractical.

It provides fans of the Club a fantastic option to support the Terriers and watch live games, whilst saving money on match day prices.

A one-off membership is required (£50 adults; £25 over-60s and full-time students), however once you are a member you will be able to take advantage of discounted match tickets to any 10 of Town’s home Championship matches.

Irrelevant of the category or opposition, you will receive a discount of £10 off match tickets for adults and £5 off match tickets for over-60s and full-time students. Full time students get an even better deal with their discount of £5 off the concession price which is only available to TAKE 10 students therefore saving up to a massive £15 on match day prices.

You can also pick which stand you sit in each week as well as the team you watch Town clash with!

The membership is ideal for people such as sportsmen and women who can’t attend every match due to their season fixtures, such as cricketers. It is also perfect for students who are either only in the town during breaks or stay in Huddersfield during term time.

Fans opting into the membership should purchase their TAKE 10 match tickets in advance of a match day, to help save queuing at the ticket office. Your TAKE 10 card and money cannot be accepted at the turnstile.

Town fan Wayne McDonald has taken up TAKE 10 membership and commented:

“I work shifts, which often involves weekends. I normally buy individual match tickets but TAKE 10 membership allows me to save money on the 10 or so games I can make a season and makes me feel like a Season Card holder!

“It’s easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in a similar situation to me.”

Shaun McNaught, another TAKE 10 member, added:

“I live in Banbury, so I can only make it up for weekend games; even then I work some Saturdays. I find TAKE 10 easy to use.”

Town fan John Thompson commented:

“I have had season tickets on and off for last 48 years, but due to work and playing football on Saturdays I have never been able to attend every game. TAKE 10 is ideal for me!”

Members are free to choose 10 home Championship matches from the upcoming 2014/15 season; however TAKE 10 doesn’t apply to PROMO category games.

Over the course of a season the price per game of a Season Card still gives the best value for money, but if you can only attend 10 games then TAKE 10 will save you money!

Contact the Ticket Office on 01484 484123 or click HERE to purchase your TAKE 10 membership now. Once you receive your membership card, you can purchase your selected match tickets online as and when the games become available.

Your TAKE 10 membership card will gain you access to the John Smith’s Stadium and you should also bring your email confirmation with proof of your selected seat to the selected game.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What will I receive when I purchase a ‘TAKE 10’ Membership?

A. You will receive a ‘TAKE 10’ Membership card.

Q. How do I purchase match tickets?

A. As soon as tickets for the game are placed on sale, you can purchase tickets as normal – online at www.htafc.com, by phone or in person. Access will be added to your card, which will be scanned at the turnstiles on a match day to allow admission. You will receive an emailed receipt confirming your seat number.

Q. Do I have to book tickets in the same stand for my selected games?

A. You can pick any available seats in any stand.

Q. If I purchase a ‘TAKE 10’ membership will I get priority on purchasing away match tickets?

A. Yes, there will be some priority depending on the ticket allocation received. This will be advertised on htafc.com when tickets go on sale.

Q. Is there a restriction on which games I can purchase?

A. All home league games are covered excluding Play-Off fixtures. There is no discount for PROMO fixtures and no other offer can be used in conjunction with a TAKE 10 membership.

Q. Can I buy more than one membership?

A. Yes, but please consider the number of games attended and the cost of ‘TAKE 10’ compared with a Season Card.

Q. Can I purchase cup tickets with my ‘TAKE 10’ membership?

A No, it is for home league games only.

Q. Can I get a refund on a Season Card and swap for a ‘TAKE 10’

A. No, normal conditions for Season Card refunds apply.

Q.  Why is it not available for PROMO games?

A. PROMO games are already heavily discounted. Further discounts would be unviable.  Members can still attend the game as normal, but the ticket price would be undiscounted – i.e. no saving on a match day PROMO price.

Q. Can I have the same seat guaranteed for all 10 games?

A. No, we believe a big benefit of the Season Card is having your own reserved seat.  We want to keep this benefit just for Season Card holders. We will endeavor to get you your preferred seat when possible. You can mix where you sit to try different parts of the ground – and the Fantastic Media Stand Lower Tier will be unreserved seating for the majority of games.

Q. Do I require any additional ID?

A. Over-60s and full-time students must carry proof of age/student status together with their TAKE 10 card. If you don’t have your ID and card, you risk being prevented from entry - even if you have a ticket.
