Midfielder scoops August Player of the Month

Huddersfield Town’s Blue and White Foundation members have voted midfielder Conor Coady as their Player of the Month for August.

The former Liverpool youngster signed on the eve of Town’s season opening fixture against Bournemouth and featured during the final twenty minutes of the 4-0 defeat.

He has since played every minute of the Terriers’ 2014/15 campaign to date, starring in the victories over Chesterfield and Reading.

Coady saw off tough competition to win the award, mainly from attacker Harry Bunn. Bunn has made a big impression since scoring on his debut at Reading with an additional goal in the defeat at Watford on Saturday.
Promotions Manager Karen Haigh said: “We were inundated with votes from our BWF members and I would like to thank everyone who took the time to email them in. Well done to Gareth Pritchard who will meet Conor ahead of the Middlesbrough match.”

BWF member Gareth was picked out at random from those that voted for Coady and he will now get the chance to meet Conor and present him with a bottle of champagne ahead of the Middlesbrough game.

Gareth will receive a commemorative photograph of the occasion and a meal for two courtesy of the Grange Pub and Restaurant at Grange Moor.
