What is KAL Football Performance?
KAL Football Performance is an advanced coaching programme run by Kirklees Active Leisure in sports centre facilities across Kirklees.
The KAL Football Performance programme is for players aged 6-16 years old and provides opportunities for gifted and talented footballers to progress from KAL Performance sessions to the Huddersfield Town development centre and Academy programme. The performance programme is invite only and players can recommend by HTAFC Scouts, HTAFC Academy Coaches and approved KAL Performance Coaches.
What can I expect to receive at the KAL Open Football Performance Camp?
Five hours of high quality advanced coaching. Sessions are led by UEFA B Licence (Level 3) coaches and are solely aimed at improving and developing players technically and physically in a friendly and challenging environment that will also encourage and develop social interaction. KAL Football Performance has no affiliation with junior league clubs or ambition to start another junior club to play in the league. Scouts from Huddersfield Town may attend the Open Camp and recommend players who show further potential to progress through the pathway to attend Huddersfield Town development centre or academy sessions.

What’s Next?
If you have any players at your club/team who you think would benefit from the extra advanced coaching we are at this moment in time accepting nominations from junior clubs for players to join the programme. Places MUST be booked by calling 01484 223178 please state players age group when booking and FULL payment is required on booking.
As we once again expect high demand for places at our Open Camp places are available to book on a first come first serve basis and are limited to a maximum of four players per age group from your club. Registration form to be completed on the day.
