70 ATTEND FIRST HTAFC COMEDY NIGHT

Edinburgh Fringe Festival star entertains the crowd

Edinburgh Fringe Festival star Tony Jameson entertained Huddersfield Town fans as part of his first UK tour at PPG Canalside last week in the Club’s first Comedy Night.
 
‘Football Manager Ruined my Life’ considered the role that the popular video game had in the youth of many fans up and down the country and it clearly resonated with supporters, as 70 filled the Radcliffe Suite on Thursday evening.
 
Suitably in two 45 minute halves, fans listened to Tony explain about how the game’s unique characters and addictive nature that has created a generation of would-be managers.


 
After the event, Tony told htafc.com:
 
“It was great to come to Huddersfield with my tour; PPG Canalside is an excellent venue and the crowd were great!”


 
Katie Barraclough from Town’s commercial team, who is pictured above with Tony, added:
 
“The first comedy night at PPG Canalside was a resounding success and I would like to thank Tony for bringing his tour to Huddersfield, as well as everyone who attended to make the evening a good one.”
