TOWN’S TEAM vs. BOLTON

Powell makes three changes to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell has made three changes to the starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game at Bolton Wanderers; 3pm kick-off at the Macron Stadium.

Unfortunately goalkeeper Joe Murphy sustained a foot injury during his League debut for the Club against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, so he drops out of the squad altogether. His place in goal is taken by fit-again Alex Smithies, who is back having missed that game with a back spasm.

The second change comes at left back, where England Under-21 international Jack Robinson replaces Paul Dixon.

Town’s final change is in attack, where top scorer Nahki Wells (pictured) is restored to the starting XI. He takes the place of Harry Bunn, who hasn’t travelled to Bolton due to a thigh issue.

Grant Holt is making the 500th appearance of his career in professional competition today.

There is a welcome return for fit-again Joe Lolley among the substitutes.
