ENGLAND U21 APPEARANCE FOR JACK

14 November 2014

Loanee earns 10th cap in win over Portugal

Huddersfield Town defender Jack Robinson made his 10th appearance for England’s Under-21s in a 3-1 friendly win over Portugal on Thursday evening.

The left back, who is on loan to Town from Premier League Queens Park Rangers, played the final 11 minutes as a substitute, replacing Everton’s Luke Garbutt at Turf Moor.

Burnley striker Danny Ings netted two of the England goals on his home ground, with West Ham United defender Carl Jenkinson sealing the win with a third.

Jack will be hoping to earn another cap for his country when Gareth Southgate’s England side travels to France for another friendly international on Monday.
