Striker withdraws from international friendlies
Huddersfield Town striker Martin Paterson has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad ahead of two international friendlies in South America.
Alongside Town teammate Oliver Norwood - who remains in the squad - Martin was one of 22 players named by Northern Ireland Manager Michael O’Neill to face Uruguay and Chile in late May and early June.
However, he has now withdrawn from the squad for the pair of friendlies.
