Midfielder set to face England’s World Cup opponents

Huddersfield Town midfielder Oliver Norwood is set to make his 16th international appearance for the Northern Ireland tonight when they take on Uruguay.

The midfielder is currently out in South America for matches against World Cup qualifiers Uruguay and Chile.

Ollie is likely to line up for the Irish against England’s World Cup opponents this evening with the game broadcast live via the red button on BBC Northern Ireland and the BBC Sport NI website (click HERE).

The game at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo kicks off at 12.30am UK time on Saturday morning.

Speaking to yesterday, the midfielder said: "It is exciting, I'll admit it. I'm still like a kid coming in to the squad and it's great to play against the likes of Edinson Cavani and Diego Forlan.”
