Radio commentary to continue during 2014/15
BBC Radio Leeds will continue its full match coverage of every Huddersfield Town game during the 2014/15 Championship season.
A three season deal was agreed ahead of the 2012/13 campaign and BBC Radio Leeds will once again cover every home and away fixture in the forthcoming season.
Full match day coverage of Town’s games will appear on one of the radio station’s two frequencies, either 774MW, 92.4FM or DAB, across Yorkshire.
As part of the deal, BBC Radio Leeds’ commentary will also continue on the ‘Town Player’ service for subscribers via htafc.com.
Huddersfield Town’s Communications Manager David Threlfall-Sykes commented:
“Full match commentary is an important service to many of our supporters who cannot get to every game.
“The Club has a long-standing working relationship with BBC Radio Leeds and it is great that their full match commentary of Huddersfield Town games will continue during the 2014/15 campaign.
“During the 2013/14 season we’ve worked together on a number of different initiatives that have given our fans exclusive access to key figures at the Club, such as the fans’ forum at PPG Canalside with Dean Hoyle and Mark Robins as well as special hour-long shows with Ross Wilson. Hopefully we can build upon those and give our fans even more exclusive content heading into the new Championship season.”
