England takes on Uruguay in their second 2014 World Cup game at 8pm tonight – and you can watch the game on the Big Screen at PPG Canalside!
Based at 509 Leeds Road, just minutes from the John Smith’s Stadium, Town’s PPG Canalside training complex will show the Three Lions’ crunch World Cup clash on its Big Screen in the Radcliffe Suite as well as on the facility’s several televisions.
There will also be special offers on four pint pitchers, with John Smith’s Smooth priced at £8.50; Fosters at £9.50; Heineken at £10.50 and Rekorderlig Cider – the main sponsor of Huddersfield Town priced at £11.50.
There is also a full range of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at PPG Canalside’s fully stocked bar.
As well as being Huddersfield’s premier venue to watch the England game, PPG Canalside also offers food, functions, football and fitness.
A fully functioning café bar serves homemade lunch every week day between noon and 2pm – today’s special is Cheese and Onion Pie – whereas the Radcliffe Suite can be hired by anyone for any function, housing up to 150 people.
The facility’s state of the 3G pitch is used by Town’s First Team, Development and Academy squads during the season but can also be hired by members of the public at great rates, just like ‘Stripes Gym’ – featuring state of the art fitness equipment.
