Midfielder features in Northern Ireland’s defeat
Huddersfield Town midfielder Oliver Norwood gained his 17th international cap during Northern Ireland’s friendly defeat to World Cup qualifiers Chile.
The central midfielder, who also featured against Uruguay over the weekend, played 85 minutes as the Irish succumbed to two late goals.
The 23 year-old featured in the 38th minute when his right-foot set piece from distance was kept out well by Chile’s goalkeeper Herrera.
