Attacker features as Under-19s end with a win
Huddersfield Town’s Jake Charles was handed a starting berth as Wales Under-19s’ defeated Greece in an UEFA Under-19 Qualifier.
Sadly, the 3-0 victory wasn’t enough to see them qualify following a 1-1 draw with Belgium and a narrow 3-2 defeat to eventual group winners Portugal.
Charles featured from the bench in the opening two matches of the qualifiers in Portugal, but started yesterday evening as Cardiff City’s Tom O’Sullivan netted a brace and Crewe’s Callum Saunders netted from the bench.
