Huddersfield Town seeks volunteer

Huddersfield Town is looking to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer on a voluntary basis - and the deadline to apply is today!

This role has been introduced by all professional football clubs throughout Europe.

Under UEFA Club Licensing Regulations, Clubs across Europe are required to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) to ensure proper and constructive discourse between the Club and its supporters. The introduction of this UEFA licensing requirement constitutes a new landmark in Club– Supporter relations and emphasises the importance which UEFA attaches to dialogue and communication between the Club and supporters.

This is a valuable and challenging appointment for an individual who has the long term interests of the Club and its supporters at heart and possesses the attributes and skills comparable with the duties involved. A job description for the post is available HERE

Huddersfield Town is already extremely proactive in engaging with its supporters through the All Together Town initiative and the creation of the SLO role offers an additional channel of communication which will enhance the existing fan engagement.
