Away game at Molineux rescheduled
Huddersfield Town’s Sky Bet Championship game at Wolverhampton Wanderers has been rescheduled.
The game, which was originally going to be played on Tuesday 30 September, will now kick-off at 7.45pm on Wednesday 1 October.
Wolves’ previous league match against Reading has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports and Football League regulations permit Wolves to request this change, as Huddersfield Town Operations Director Ann Hough explained:
“When Wolves’ league meeting with Reading was moved to Sunday for live Sky TV coverage they sought to move the fixture. We asked that this game remained on a Tuesday but Football League regulation 26.4 permits a 24 hour delay in the kick-off and this provision has taken affect.”
