SHEFF WED AT HOME ON SKY SPORTS

16 July 2014

Kick-off time brought forward to 12.15pm

Town’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 22 November has been selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports.

As a result, this Yorkshire derby will now kick-off at the earlier time of 12.15pm.

This will be the second consecutive season that a game between the Terriers and the Owls has been on live TV. Sky Sports was present at Hillsborough in November 2013 when Martin Paterson netted his first goal for Town in a 2-1 victory; a game in which Tommy Smith made his league debut for the Club.

Around 272,000 people watched that game, with a further 287,000 watching the live Sky Sports game at home to Blackpool in September 2013 – Town’s only other televised game in 2013/14.

This is the first Huddersfield Town game that has been selected for live television coverage in the 2014/15 campaign.
