Town defeated despite impressive display
Although Town’s first-half performance was one of the best of the season, a simple set piece goal gave promotion-chasing QPR a 2-1 win over the Terriers at Loftus Road.
On his full debut Club record signing Nahki Wells netted his second goal in as many games to restore parity in the scoreline after Charlie Austin’s second-half opener, but Austin popped up with around 10 minutes to go to thump home a header from a corner and give his side all three points.
