JOE WANTS TO EXCITE FANS

New boy Lolley on his move to HTAFC

New signing Joe Lolley aims to excite the Huddersfield Town faithful with his performances after today completing his move from Kidderminster Harriers.

The 21 year-old, who is pictured above signing his contract with Operations Director Ann Hough, has earned rave reviews at the Skrill Premier club and is up for the challenge of stepping up to the Championship.

“I’m very excited to step up from the Conference to the Championship,” Joe told htafc.com. “It is a big move, but I can’t wait to get started. Moving to Kidderminster in the summer was a step up, but I know this is a big improvement in standard again.”

Many clubs were reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the wide attacker, but Joe explained that his heart was set on joining ‘The Yorkshire Club’.

“Everything about Huddersfield Town appealed; The Manager, the Chairman and Ross Wilson have sold the Club to me. The squad contains a lot of quality young players that are developing and the way the team is playing football is great. The training facility and ground are both very good too. It’s all very exciting.

“There were other club I could have chosen to join, but I believe for my development and career Huddersfield is a perfect place.”

Many Town fans won’t have seen Joe play ahead of his arrival, but he explained he wants to give the crowd something to cheer with his direct style.

“Although it’s a bit of a cliché, I give 110% whenever I step out onto the pitch. I like to dribble with the ball and attack players; I like to think that gets the fans off their seats. Hopefully I can bring that excitement to this Club.”

Lolley joins his new teammates for his first Town training session at Canalside on Thursday and is hoping to impress enough to make the squad for Saturday’s game at QPR:

“I can’t wait to get started here – hopefully at QPR on Saturday. Their squad includes many players who have featured in the Premier League, such as Joey Barton and Shaun Wright-Phillips, and pitting my skills against them would be a great way to start.”
