Fourth Round draw made at Wembley
Huddersfield Town have been drawn at home to either Charlton Athletic or Oxford United in the Fourth Round of this season’s FA Cup with Budweiser.
The draw was made at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with Martin Allen picking out the Terriers’ ball number 29 early in the draw.
Town earned passage to the Fourth Round with Saturday’s late 3-2 win at Skrill Premier side Grimsby Town.
Charlton and Oxford were due to meet in the Third Round yesterday, but the game at the Valley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Addicks would be familiar opponents for Town; the two sides met in the Third Round of the FA Cup last season on top of two Championship games, whereas the two sides have also met at the John Smith’s Stadium in the Capital One Cup and the League already this term.
However, Town haven’t played Oxford United since the 2003/04 Division Three promotion campaign.
The game will be played over the weekend of 25 and 26 January 2014, so Town’s scheduled Sky Bet Championship game at home to Nottingham Forest will be rearranged.
