Find out more about Thursday’s meeting

Huddersfield Town Directors Ross Wilson and Nigel Clibbens took centre stage at the latest meeting of the Patrons Association at PPG Canalside on Thursday night.

Hosted by Club Ambassador Andy Booth, the Patrons were given an insight into Town’s budget and the transfer window by Chief Executive Clibbens before Head of Football Operations Wilson gave his view on last weekend’s heavy derby defeat at Leeds.

Clibbens went onto give Patrons a flavour of the Football League meeting he had attended at Derby County earlier that day. One of the only positives from that game was debutant Joe Lolley and Wilson explained how he had appeared on Town’s radar during January.

In the second half of the meeting Ross and Nigel talked about bizarre situations they've encountered in football.
The next away trip organised by the Patrons is to Birmingham City on Saturday 15 February, setting off at 9.30am from gym entrance at the John Smith’s Stadium. Price is £18, which includes a Carvery Lunch. For more information or to book your place, please contact Travel Organiser Martin Lister on 01484 714287.

The next Patrons Terrier newsletter will be coming out before the end of February; this will be posted out to all Patrons.

A banner will also be produced with all the Patrons names on which will be displayed at PPG Canalside.

The next meeting will be in April; date and guest to be confirmed.
