TOWN’S TEAM vs. BIRMINGHAM

15 February 2014

Ward comes in for injured Vaughan

Danny Ward makes his 100th League start as Mark Robins makes one change to the starting XI for today’s Sky Bet Championship game at Birmingham City; 3pm kick-off at St. Andrew’s.

‘Wardy’ replaces the injured James Vaughan, who misses out due to the calf injury he sustained in Tuesday night’s game against Nottingham Forest.

Otherwise the Terriers are unchanged today, meaning Alex Smithies will skipper the side in goal behind defenders Tommy Smith, Anthony Gerrard and Joel Lynch, who is making his 50th appearance for the Club today.

Another player making his 50th Town appearance is Adam Hammill; he is expected to start at right wing back, with Paul Dixon on the left.

Oliver Norwood, Adam Clayton and Jonathan Hogg will form the central midfield trio, leaving the incoming Danny Ward to partner Nahki Wells in attack.

On the bench, Joe Lolley takes the place vacated by Ward.
