First meeting held at PPG Canalside
The first meeting of the Pink Link Pedal for Pounds 5 cyclists took place on Tuesday night at PPG Canalside.
Starting at 7.30pm, Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis welcomed 200 of the 270 cyclists to the facility before explaining their team designations and full information about the departure on the ‘Chapman Trail’ from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Wednesday 23 April, including how their bikes will be transported to London ahead of the ride.
Staff from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were also on hand at the meeting to give guidance on fundraising.
If you are a P4P5 cyclist and didn't make the meeting, you should now have been emailed with the notes.
The next meeting for P4P5 cyclists is scheduled for early April, when attendees will receive their cycling tops and get full information on the ride - including departure times.
The Club’s fifth annual fundraising bike ride will see supporters and staff take to their bikes once again, this time cycling from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, through Cambridge, Leicester and Doncaster and back to Huddersfield in time for the Club’s last home game against Leicester City on Saturday 26 April 2014.
The event raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy. Last season’s P4P4: Tour of Yorkshire ride in May 2013 raised an a staggering £190,000 for the campaign.
There are sponsorship opportunities available on the ride - for details on how you can get your company’s logo seen please email
